Great race but where are the rest of the Written by Guest on 2010-06-21 15:17:42 Flyer states "Connecticut USCF State Medals will be awarded in each race to the top three CT residents" Results show medal placing by age for Pro123 men/women, Masters men 35+, 45+, 55+, even Juniors at 27 miles. What about for the 3/4 men, 4 men, 4 women (and ok, even Cat 5 men at 27 miles?!) Why aren't Cat 4 women getting age-ranked awards like the men? Medals should be awarded as advertised. |
RR Written by Guest on 2010-06-15 07:49:38 My only win was at the HHRR when I was a cat4. Now that I'm a cat2 I look forward to banging heads with the top guys in the Northeast. HHRR is always a great place to gauge your fitness for the rest of the season. |
Reb Cole Written by Guest on 2010-06-04 19:54:42 i have done this race for 11 of its years. one of the best one day races ever!!! i never won it but came close a few times and it did not seem to matter because it was so good. zephyrs rider "cam" i will always hold in high regaurd for organizing this race even after he could no longer put in the hard efforts on the bike that i am sure he misses. Hopefully it will continue to be one of the best.THANKS! for many good memories. |
Thank-you Written by Guest on 2010-05-18 22:13:17 HHRR has become my favorite single-day race of the season. A beautiful and hard course and a well organized race. The winners are always worthy. Thanks for all our hard work over the years putting on this New England Classic. Dave Kellogg |
Bethel? Written by Guest on 2010-04-06 22:03:28 I always thought Bike Express(of Danbury) sponsored Zephyr! Is Bethel now the new sponsor? Why? Always loved the HHRR hope it continues under Pelican's leadership! |
